Central Slovenia comprises 25 municipalities, which together form the central mosaic of the region: from lively Ljubljana to peaceful villages, from watery pearls to green hills and mountains. The exhibition seeks to capture, through photographs, the moments, impressions and stories of these places as echoes that remain in the memory and tell us about the city, nature, heritage, modernity and everyday and special moments.
The selected thoughts of Slovenian writers that accompany the photographs invite us to reflect and at the same time remind us that Ljubljana has been bearing the title of UNESCO City of Literature, where literary creativity enriches the city’s pulse and opens up new experiences.
