On Friday, 11 July, at 8 pm, you are invited to the castle terrace for a narrative-music evening with the pedagogue and writer Spela Frlic and the musical duo All Strings Detached, composed of Jane Beltran and Vesna Godler. The performance was premiered last year at the Storytelling Festival. There is no entrance fee for this event, which is organised by the Bogenšperk Public Institute in cooperation with the Litija Library.
The play is based on a collection of Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian, Slovenian and Serbian folk tales of the same name, which focuses on girls and their survival strategies. The magical tales included in the collection depict a mysterious and often dangerous world where girls can only rely on their wits, ingenuity and brave hearts, and now and then a kind old woman who comes their way.
